Israeli Forces murdered Palestinian American Journalist Shireen Abu-Aqleh

The Palestinian American Organizations Network, representing 31 Palestinian American Organizations, strongly condemns the cold-blooded killing of the Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh of Al-Jazeerah TV at the hands of the Zionist occupation forces in Jenin, despite the clear press marks she was wearing, as she was reporting about the Israeli brutality attacks on the Palestinian Jenin refugee camp.
While we extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to her family, to Al-Jazeera and our Palestinian people, we call on the American administration to demand that the perpetrators of this heinous crime be brought to justice before the American courts, since the martyr is an American citizen. We have no trust or confidence in the Zionist courts for a fair trial that will bring justice for killing Shireen.
Shireen, who joined Al-Jazeera in 1997, became an icon on Al-Jazeera TV reporting directly from the field, the news of the second Palestinian intifada and all other Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people. It is with heavy hearts, we bid farewell to one of the brilliant Palestinian journalists who left a legacy for the upcoming Palestinian journalistic generation.
